Bishop Leroy Jackson Woolard

Bishop Leroy Jackson Woolard is a native of Washington, North Carolina. Bishop Woolard holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Moody’s Seminary, Chicago, Illinois; and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Trinity Hall Seminary, Springfield, Massachusetts. Bishop Woolard is second generation of the Church of God in Christ, Inc. He has been in ministry for 54 years. He was groomed to be a Christian gentleman and servant of the Lord, Jesus Christ under the late Bishop Wyoming Wells, Bishop Archie D. Headen, and Bishop Leo B. Davenport. He operates in the five-fold ministry, and countless souls have been healed, delivered, and set free. Bishop Woolard is the former Pastor of Pentecostal Temple Church of God In Christ, located in Plymouth, North Carolina, where he served for 32 years, and Greater Harvest Fellowship Church of God In Christ, located in the township of St. John, North Carolina, where he served for 43 years.  During his tenure at these locations, God blessed him to construct two new edifices, which are complete with a fellowship hall and several classrooms for ministry. Currently, Bishop Woolard serves as Senior Pastor of Davenport Temple Church of God In Christ (21 years), located in Washington, North Carolina and Interim church, Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, Plymouth, North Carolina.

In addition, Bishop Woolard is the Founder and President of the You’re Not Alone

Ministries, a local ministry, which was launched 42 years ago and includes, but is not limited to a Weekly Television Broadcast; Radio Ministry; Feeding and Clothing Ministry; Prison Ministry; Youth and Children’s Church Ministry; Day Care Ministry; Sick and Shut-In

Ministry; Senior Assistance Outreach Ministry; and Video-Audio Ministry. He has authored and published, “Let the Church be the Church” and “The Seven Dispensations.” In August 1991, Bishop Woolard was consecrated to the Office of Jurisdictional Prelate of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Greater North Carolina by the late Presiding Bishop Louis H. Ford and General Board Members of the Church of God In Christ, Inc., and is overseer of 107 pastors and churches throughout the State of North Carolina.  Immediately following his appointment, Bishop Woolard embraced a vision and established the Church of God in Christ Academy of North Carolina. The academy operates with a staff of qualified educators who teach and train individuals about the various aspects of ministry. Under Bishop’s leadership, the Jurisdiction acquired 48+ acres of land in Wendell, North Carolina. In less than 11 months’ time, this land was paid in full. The building fund efforts continued to excel, and in July 2003, a $3 million plus state-of-the art edifice was successfully completed with a fellowship hall, administrative offices and classrooms. The late Presiding Bishop G. E. Patterson of Memphis, Tennessee dedicated this grand facility. Personally, Bishop Woolard resides in Greenville, North Carolina with his loving and devoted family, and they support all of his ministry endeavors.  To date, the Academy has graduated more than 450 successful students. Bishop Woolard also embraced a God-given vision to build a new State Temple Headquarter His motto to the people is: “Success for My Life, is my Obedience to God, and my Destiny on Tomorrow, depends on my Obedience to God Today.”

Evangelist Sheila Adell Woolard 

Evangelist Sheila Adell Woolard is a native of Queens, New York and is the daughter of the late Mr. Lonnie Adell, Sr. and Mrs. Dorothy Adell. She has one sister and three brothers. Evangelist Woolard holds to her credit an associate degree in Commercial Art, Chowan College, Murfreesboro, North Carolina, and Business Administration, Roanoke Chowan Community College, Ahoskie, North Carolina. She also holds to her credit, Child Care credentials. In 2005 she graduated from the Greater North Carolina Jurisdictional Academy, summa cum laude. She is currently employed with the Hertford County Department of Social Services, Winton, North Carolina as Income Maintenance Caseworker II in the Food and Nutrition Service Unit. She was employed by the Greater Harvest Fellowship Child Care Center for 17 years.

Evangelist Woolard accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at the age of 22 years old while kneeling at her bedside. The Lord kept her, through the Holy Spirit, Bishop Woolard’s teaching and Mother Dorothy Crooks Woolard’s example, as a single woman for 30 years. She says: “To God Be The Glory.” Evangelist Sheila Adell Woolard was a member of Greater Harvest Fellowship Church of God in Christ for 30 years. Bishop LeRoy Jackson Woolard was her Pastor for 28 years and Elder Kenneth B. Jefferson, Jr. for 2 years. While at Greater Harvest Fellowship Church of God in Christ she served in several capacities and on various committees. On May 4, 2013, she married an awesome Man of God, The Honorable Bishop LeRoy Jackson Woolard, Jurisdictional Prelate of the Greater North Carolina Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.

Evangelist Woolard believes first in being honest with God and honest with yourself. Her desire is to please God and to do His Will. She desires to ultimately hear two words from the Lord; and they are“WELL DONE.
